The 7th Pakistan Industrial Expo was successfully held at the Expo Center Lahore from November 25th to November 27th. This expo has organized more than 100 Chinese companies and more than 30 local Pakistani companies to participate in the exhibition, with an exhibition area of more than 8,000 square meters. During the exhibition, a total of 10,658 Pakistani merchants were invited to visit and negotiate, and the intended transaction volume of the exhibition reached US$120 million.
Du Yue, Director of the Political Section of the Chinese Consulate General in Lahore, Ibrahim Hasan Murad, Minister of Mining, Transport, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development of Pakistan, Qaisar Abbas, President of the University of Sarghedad, Pakistan, Wang Zihai, Director of the China Center in Pakistan, and Chinese enterprises and representatives from local business associations in Pakistan attended the opening ceremony. There are more than 30 local business associations including Pakistan Trade Development Promotion Agency, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lahore Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry for International Trade, Pakistan Hardware Industry Association, Pakistan Builders Association, and Daro Hawala Industrial Association. A delegation of buyers attended the meeting for negotiation.
During the exhibition, well-known media at home and abroad such as China Central Broadcasting Network, Shandong News Network, ARY News, and City 42 conducted follow-up reports on the exhibition. In addition, Jang, Pakistan’s largest media group, reached a strategic cooperation with the exhibition organizer Pakistan Everest International Exhibition Co., Ltd. and reported the entire event.
The atmosphere at the exhibition was warm and there was a heavy flow of customers. Merchants from all over Pakistan gathered here, looking for business and cooperation opportunities. Various advanced Chinese industrial technologies and products were displayed at the exhibition, injecting new impetus into Pakistan’s industrial development. The gathering of people, business opportunities and cooperation opportunities at the exhibition site makes the exhibition an important platform for China-Brazil economic and trade cooperation and exchanges.
